Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President, Strategic Partnerships – Insurance to lead our expansion efforts within the insurance industry.
• As the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by developing high-value partnerships, expanding executive relationships, and accelerating the adoption of our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions across the insurance industry.
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent business acumen, and a proven track record of developing successful partnerships and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive growth and strategic partnerships strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, and other key industry organizations.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, strategic partners, and other industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to develop customized value propositions and partnership strategies tailored to the insurance industry.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
• Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements while ensuring alignment with company goals, financial objectives, and legal requirements.
• Monitor industry dynamics, regulatory developments, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities to refine partnership and growth strategies.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnership performance, pipeline growth, and strategic initiatives, presenting findings to Executive Leadership on a regular basis.
• Stay current on insurance industry trends, emerging technologies, and SaaS innovations to help maintain Koïos Intelligence's competitive advantage

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are considered an asset. An experience commercializing AI is a plus.
• Proven track record of success in business development, partnership management, or sales within the insurance industry. Experience in the SaaS industry is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, including insurance products, distribution channels, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
• Strong network of relationships within the insurance industry, including insurance carriers, brokers, MGAs, and industry associations.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage market research and data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with partners and attend industry event

Considered an Asset

• Previous experience working with SaaS solutions in the insurance industry, such as policy administration systems, claims management systems, or underwriting platforms.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Blockchain, and their applications within the insurance industry.
• Understanding of InsurTech trends, including usage-based insurance, telematics, and digital distribution models.
• Existing relationships and partnerships within the InsurTech ecosystem.
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
